"Innocence" and it is 24" x 20". Available
This little deer is the one of the first paintings for a collection I am calling "Woodland Creatures". This collection will be on display at the Blacksmith Bakery restaurant in Fort Langley this March 2019 and will also be available for purchase through this website. I am lucky enough to spend a lot of time in nature... never enough but still plenty to gather inspiration for this series. Of course I love to marvel at the beauty of these animals but I love their presence, their stillness and their innocence. I was on my 6 year old boy's case the other day and he looked at me and said "Please remember Mum, I am young and still learning". It broke my heart a bit and it was such a good reminder to me and humanity in general to be gentle with each other when we make mistakes...we are all still learning - at any age.
